Work has begun on construction of the cofferdam and excavation for the new Smithland Hydroelectric Power Generating Station owned by American Municipal Power of Columbus, OH. We are part of the CJ Mahan Design-Build team for this construction of 2,200 l.f. of cofferdam; 3,800 l.f of soil cement bentonite cut-off wall with an average depth of 160 ft.; installation of 65 wells for dewatering; and excavation of approximately 1.6 million cu.yds. of material.
