Environmental Impact Statement

Memphis, TN

The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) retained F&H to complete an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) in Memphis, TN as part of a two-year continual contract for document preparation required under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969. The EIS involves a systematic determination of impacts to cultural, ecological, and social resources for improvements to both North 2nd Street and North 3rd Street in uptown Memphis. The purpose of the proposed project is to provide a safer and more efficient route from north of Memphis to the downtown business district. The completion of the EIS document will aid TDOT in the completion of the requirements as directed by the Act.
