Paducah, KY

The development of this exposition center was crucial to the City’s ability to keep the National Quilt Show in Paducah. The project consisted of the addition of a 60,000 sf exposition hall adjacent to and connecting with a major hotel located on the river side of the floodwall. F&H was selected by the architect to provide survey/civil/site and geotechnical services for the project and developed the civil/site and utility extension drawings. F&H coordinated the stream construction permitting for the facility, which was extremely complex due to the site’s proximity to the Ohio River.
