Roger Colburn is Executive Vice President and Group Leader for the firm’s operations in Kentucky and Mississippi. He has more than 25 years experience of increasingly complex infrastructure design, management and public affairs in both the public and private sectors. Roger’s current corporate responsibilities include service programming and delivery within the Civil/Site sector, principal-in-charge of three F&H offices, and business growth opportunities across all service lines and in numerous states.
Roger joined F&H in 1983 and his areas of specialty include Roadway Design, Water Resources, Utility Infrastructure and Industrial/Commercial Site Development. He has expertise in Master Planning, Project Management, Modeling, Design, and Quality Control/Assurance.
For four years, Roger served as Director of Environmental and Engineering Services for the City of Paducah where he was responsible for oversight of the City’s Engineering, Flood Control and Wastewater Collection/Treatment programs.
His diverse work experience and understanding of the various project disciplines has enhanced his ability to coordinate and manage complex projects involving multiple divisions of work.
A graduate of the University of Kentucky, Roger holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He is a licensed professional engineer in Kentucky, Tennessee, Missouri, Arkansas and Indiana. Roger is also a professional licensed surveyor in Kentucky and Texas.
Roger is an active member of numerous civic and professional organizations including Rotary International, Kentuckians for Better Transportation, American Water Works Association and the American Council of Engineering Companies.
