F&H Engineering Holds Annual Shareholder's Meeting

Local civil engineers, Florence & Hutcheson, Inc (F&H), conducted the firm’s annual shareholder’s meeting in Murfreesboro April 20 and 21.
According to Stan King, Executive Vice President and Regional Director for the firm in Tennessee, F&H held the meetings at the Embassy Suites Murfreesboro Hotel and Conference Center and entertained 36 shareholders and guests at the Oaklands Historic House and Museum. The two-day event was hosted by the firm’s Murfreesboro office, and drew shareholders from throughout the Southeast.
The firm kicked off the event with an organized relief effort with 10 local employees and relatives volunteering to help with the clean up effort for victims of the Good Friday tornadoes. A donation was also made to the American Red Cross to assist those who were affected by the storms. According to King, “We love the community we live and work in and appreciate our corporate leadership’s support in allowing us to make a small contribution in this time of need. Our hearts and prayers go out to those who suffered loss in this tragic event that has touched all of us in someway.”
According to the firm’s Chairman of the Board, Ben Glunt, “Murfreesboro is a great place to do business and we are proud of our operations here,” said Glunt. “Seeing the community and our staff’s enthusiasm for making it their home, confirms our decision to open our office here three years ago. Having our meetings here provides us a good opportunity to continue our investment in the community.”
