NCDOT I-5501 Diverging Diamond Interchange Awarded to F&H
NCDOT has selected F&H to provide professional engineering services for retrofitting the existing interchange at I-26 and NC 280 to a diverging diamond interchange in Buncombe County, North Carolina. This will be the third Diverging Diamond Interchange in North Carolina F&H has played a major role in developing.
The project will consist of Roadway, Structure and Hydraulic Design and Traffic Control Plans. The project involves coordination of ingress/egress challenges along the NC 280 corridor with numerous businesses as well as the Asheville Regional Airport.
